It strives to enhance the methodological quality, ethics, integrity, and social value of health research; translate the best available evidence into professional, managerial, and political decision-making; improve healthcare quality by focusing on safety, efficacy, appropriateness, equity, consumer involvement, and efficiency.
Through its observatory, GIMBE is actively monitoring the adoption of artificial intelligence in healthcare, analyzing regulatory frameworks and available evidence, and engaging with institutional stakeholders to promote its responsible integration into the Italian healthcare system.
