The 9th International Conference for EBHC Teachers and Developers, held in conjunction with the 8th Conference of the International Society for Evidence-Based Health Care, took place from November 6 to 9, 2019, in the enchanting setting of Taormina, Sicily. This edition, titled “The Ecosystem of Evidence – Global Challenges for the Future”, explored the intricate connections within the evidence ecosystem, emphasizing evidence generation, synthesis, translation, and communication.

Renowned EBHC experts and emerging researchers presented cutting-edge studies and methodologies aimed at addressing global health challenges. The conference featured over 160 participants from 33 countries, fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas among a diverse international audience.

Highlights included inspiring keynote lectures by leaders in evidence-based medicine, interactive workshops, and engaging plenary sessions. Attendees also had the opportunity to explore the beautiful Mediterranean setting, enjoying the informal yet intellectually stimulating atmosphere that has become a hallmark of the EBHC Conference.
